the beatmaker Montrealer Kaytranada was passing through Tonight Show by Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday evening with American singer HER The duo performed the title song of the Quebecer’s latest mini-album, Intimidated.

Behind his turntables and synthesizers, Kaytranada played the electro-soul melody of this ballad to which HE R. lends his seraphic voice. The singer in sunglasses, first seated at the piano, then standing upstage, also offered an impeccable performance.
The duo earned a wave of positive comments under the video of their performance, available on YouTube and viewed more than 30,000 times in less than 24 hours.
The room Intimidated is taken from the mini-album of the same name, released last November, on which Kaytranada also collaborated with Thundercat and Mach-Hommy.
This appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s popular late-night show is just the continuation of a successful run for the Montrealer, winner of two Grammy awards last year.
