Kate Middleton sparkling in front of Queen Camilla, thanks to this expensive jewel!

There are days and periods in the British monarchy that are more important than others. One of them is very recent since it is the death of Queen Elizabeth II which occurred on September 8th. At 96, the monarch with the record for time spent on the throne bowed out at her Balmoral castle in Scotland, her summer residence for many years. Marked by the disappearance of the Sovereign, the British people have been plunged into a very special period of mourning. The day of his funeral, celebrated on September 19, has even become a holiday.

Among the dates to mark with a white stone, we also find the Sovereign’s jubilees, anniversaries and commemorations. One of them took place this Sunday, November 13. Remembrance Day is a ceremony honoring the many soldiers killed during the First World War. A solemn and moving appointment which all members of the monarchy usually attend. At least the most active like King Charles III and his wife Camilla, of course, but also Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton.

The Duchess of Cambridge shone brightly on this special day. Marked by emotion, Kate Middleton had hidden part of her face under a large black hat. However, the headgear was not sufficiently covering to hide the magnificent curls that the mother of George (9 years old), Charlotte (7 years old) and Louis (4 years old) wore in her ears. By wearing them like this, Kate paid homage to Lady Diana, the mother-in-law she never knew. But these are not the only jewels that the Princess of Wales wore for this symbolic day.
