This week, the United Kingdom has only one name at the head, that of Elizabeth II. On September 8, 2022, Her Majesty the Queen of England died at Balmoral Castle, Scotland, at the age of 96. The British royal crown has undoubtedly lost its most beautiful jewel… but since her death, the sovereign has the right to very many tributes, in keeping with the grandeur of her 70-year reign.
Deceased in Scotland, Elizabeth II was moved to England, to London, where she will be buried during her funeral, organized for Monday, September 19, 2022. After being positioned at Buckingham Palace, for a final night, the remains of the queen has been transported to Westminster Hall, where the people of England can come and visit her and say “good-bye“, for five days, even if it means queuing for many hours.
