Kate Middleton: Mine sad and tired for a new tribute to Elizabeth II with William

The fans, who, in the end, know them rather well, were present: it must be said that the royal family spends all the Christmas holidays in Sandringham, participating in the mass on December 25. Prince William and Kate Middleton themselves lived close to the castle, at Anmer Hall for several years.

Today, both live in Windsor, where they had made a similar outing last Saturday, this time in the company of the other son of King Charles III, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, for expected (but cold) reunion between the two brothers who have been estranged for two years. A moment full of emotion for the new Prince of Wales and his wife, in line with the ceremonies that took place this Wednesday in London.

Discreet but devastated by the death of the queen

Prince William indeed took part with the men of his family this Wednesday in the procession which took his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, from Buckingham Palace to the Palace of Westminster, where her coffin will be exposed until the morning of her funeral. Then joining his wife and the rest of the clan for a short mass, he was seen with his face closed, on the verge of breaking down. At his side, Kate Middleton also appeared collapsed: the young woman, perfect in her Alexander McQueen coat, had almost split the armor and burst into tears during the ceremony.

Expected Monday, September 19, for the official funeral of the sovereign in the company of heads of state from around the world, the couple will first be able to rest: this weekend, they should return to their new home in Windsor to find their three children (George, 9, Charlotte, 7, and Louis, 4), very protected by their parents for a week but who could appear during the ceremony.

While visiting the couple from Wales on Thursday at Sandringham, an estate where the family usually gathers for Christmas, Prince Edward and his wife Sophie of Wessex traveled to Manchester for another tribute, while the Princess Anne was back in Scotland, in Glasgow. On the other hand, King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla both returned to their respective estates in the countryside to rest for a day.
