Kate Middleton: Cooking class and tasting, complicit moment with William before leaving the Bahamas

Definitely, wherever she goes, she conquers the hearts of the inhabitants! Kate Middleton, masterful in her silver dress for a reception at the Governor of the Bahamas, also showed that she liked to mingle with the inhabitants of the countries she discovered in recent days.

After visiting a school and then doing a regatta, in shorts, where she lost to her husband, this time she dazzled the Bahamian crowd in a local restaurant. Accompanied by Prince William, she had chosen a long pink dress from the Rixo brand accompanied by wedge sandals and her earrings created by Nadia Irena Campbell, a local jeweler.

The royal couple shared a pleasant and complicit moment at Fish Fry where they learned some traditional fish recipes and tasted Bahamian food and secret recipe drinks without hesitation. Accomplices, often hilarious, they multiplied the gestures of affection in front of a conquered crowd. Kate even went into the kitchen, knife in hand, to take a little lesson.

Later in the day, they visited the Daystar Abaco Evangelical Church to learn more about the consequences of Hurricane Dorian, which hit the archipelago in 2019. After a moment of contemplation, the Duke and Duchess from Cambridge have met many children…sometimes a little shy! Parents of three children (George, 8 years old, Charlotte, 6 years old and Louis, soon to be 4 years old) stayed at home, the couple has often shown that they adore toddlers.

Finally, the couple’s day ended with a visit to the Coral Vita association, whose action which brings corals back to life had been rewarded with a prize. A few hours later, they boarded the plane back to the UK. Kate Middleton, her hair tied up, this time chose an Alessandra Rich yellow floral dress and white pumps.

A week in the Caribbean which was not easy for Prince William and his wife: in addition to visits and receptions, they sometimes tackled difficult subjects such as colonization which had affected the three countries visited and for which some would like a heavy reparation; the swelling anti-royalist feeling. The queen’s grandson also admitted in a very strong speech that he “probably wouldn’t run the Commonwealth“, as his grandmother does today, adding that he was “at the service of the population“and that he didn’t want to force them to do what they didn’t want.
