Kate Middleton chic in Copenhagen: happy reunion with Queen Margrethe and Princess Mary

Kate Middleton’s official trip to Denmark continues with a new remarkable outing at the Christian IX Palace in Copenhagen. This Wednesday, February 23, 2022, after a happy morning spent in the forest, among the children, the Duchess of Cambridge took off her boots and found a more formal outfit for an audience with the Queen Margrethe and his daughter-in-law, Princess Mary.

Despite the official setting of this meeting, the atmosphere was rather relaxed, the three women exchanging broad smiles in front of the photographers. Prince William’s wife was as elegant as possible in her long officer-style coat, a unique model by Catherine Walker, one of her favorite brands. The 40-year-old Brit completed her look with a pair of Gianvito Rossi pumps and pearl jewelry. She also wore the same pair of Maria Black Jewelery earrings as yesterday, when she arrived in Denmark, in a red Zara blazer.

Once the audience with the queen was over, Kate Middleton collected her Mulberry handbag and her leather gloves to join Mary in Frederik VIII Palace, the residence that the Danish princess shares with her husband, Crown Prince Frederik. The two women walked across the cobbled Amalienborg courtyard, perched on their high heels, before enjoying a private lunch. The Duchess of Cambridge and Princess Mary have known each other for 10 years now, after Kate Middleton and William’s first visit to Denmark in 2011. Mary and Frederik of Denmark then reunited with the Cambridges in 2016 in England, at Royal Ascot.
