Kate Middleton at Wimbledon: luminous in a yellow dress recycled from Tom Cruise and the VIPs

A fervent follower of the British Wimbledon tournament, Kate Middleton attended Elena Rybakina’s victory over Ons Jabeur on July 9, 2022. Radiant in a bright yellow bespoke dress from Roksanda, the Duchess of Cambridge had already worn this creation worth £1,095 (1,292.76 Euros) in March 2022 during a trip with Prince William to Jamaica. Once again, she shows herself able to recycle her outfits to avoid too much expense to the crown and the taxpayers.

Paired with white Gianvito Rossi pumps and Kiki McDonough lemon quartz earrings, this dress lit up the courts of London. As soon as she arrived at Wimbledon, the sister of Pippa Middleton was able to find the champion Martina Hingis but also Tom Cruise (who is a hit at the cinema with Top Gun Maverick, film he had presented in the British capital in the presence of the Duchess), Ellie Goulding and Rebel Wilson in the VIP stands to watch the match. As a reminder, this is Kate Middleton’s second appearance at the tournament this year, after attending Cameron Norrie’s match.

During this women’s final, the Duchess of Cambridge could not contain her emotion as she watched Russian Elena Rybakina beat third-seeded Tunisian Ons Jabeur. Elenea Rybakina won 3-6 6-2 6-2 against world number 2 Tunisia. The young tenniswoman, aged 23, thus became the youngest Wimbledon champion since Petra Kvitova in 2011.

As a reminder, Kate Middleton recently learned of the pregnancy of her sister Pippa, pregnant with her third child. Patron of the Lawn Tennis Association, the Duchess was spotted playing tennis with her children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis at the exclusive Hurlingham Club, Fulham, where annual membership costs £1,600 £ (1,900 euros) in April 2022.

Recently, Prince William was also in the front row to watch the match between Briton Cameron Norrie and Belgian David Goffin on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. The father of George, Charlotte and Louis was then noted for swearing when Cameron Norrie lost a point on his serve. Prince Harry’s brother reportedly uttered a “No, no… Fuck**“Far from going unnoticed.
