Kate Middleton and William in Cardiff: Recycled look for the Duchess, shy Charlotte and noticeable absence of Louis!

On Saturday June 4, 2022, Kate Middleton, Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and their children Princess Charlotte and Prince George traveled to Cardiff as part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee which takes place from 2 to June 5, 2022. Prince Louis was missing.

Resplendent, the Duchess of Cambridge wore one of her favorite outfits, a long fitted poppy red coat with large buttons from the brand Eponine London. A coat that suits the pretty brunette perfectly and that she had already worn on May 7, 2021 for the release of her book Hold Still: A Portrait of Our Nation in 2020. To accompany this strong piece, the Duchess chose a dark color, sapphire blue with a pair of Gianvito Rossi velvet pumps and a DeMellier leather handbag (Meghan Markle’s favorite brand).

All matched, Prince William also wore a dark blue suit as did his eldest son George (8) and his daughter Charlotte, lovely with a navy frock coat and blue Mary Jane shoes with white socks. During this traditional event, Prince William placed his arm around his eldest son as he appeared to explain to him how official engagements are conducted. Visibly exhausted from the festivities of Queen Elizabeth’s Jubilee, the little boy pouted and did not hide his fatigue through mischievous and sulky expressions.

A few days ago, it was Prince Louis who was the author of mines all funnier than each other during the traditional appearance of the British royal family on the balcony of Buckingham Palace. Very impressed but exhausted by the sounds of fighter jets paying homage to the Queen, the adorable prince was seen covering his ears and grimacing.

On June 4, 2022, Kate, William, George and Charlotte are due to attend rehearsals and meet some of the performers taking part in the Jubilee celebrations, including Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler. For their part, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle celebrate the first birthday of their daughter Lilibeth behind closed doors in Windsor.
