As with all young British pupils, vacation time has come for George, Charlotte and Louis de Galles! Now on vacation for two weeks, the three children of Prince William and Kate Middleton will be able to breathe after a very eventful return to school: after leaving London for Windsor this summer, they had joined a new school, Lambeth School, before being shaken by the death of their great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
But now all that is behind them and the three toddlers aged 9, 7 and 4 will finally be able to fully enjoy their first vacation of their new home and above all… of their large garden! Located on the Windsor estate, their cottage allows them to enjoy the castle grounds, where they have fun regularly, to the delight of their parents.
“They love that their children can take their bikes and have fun around the estate“, had declared one of the couple’s friends recently to the magazine People. And this may be on the program for these fifteen days offespecially that their parents also decided to take a vacation to take a breather too from this busy back-to-school period and to enjoy the joys of nature with them.
Campfires and grilled sausages
It must be said that the Prince and Princess of Wales are very attached to life in the great outdoors and that they have already planned a program for their little ones, as Kate Middleton had confided there is little. “Someone asked me recently: what do you want your children to remember from their childhood?“, she had told in a podcast.
“And I thought that was a really good question because really, do I want them to remember me sitting around doing homework with them all weekend? Or do I prefer that they remember the time when we went outside, when we lit a campfire and where we tried to cook sausageswho didn’t want to grill because everything was too humid?“, she wondered.
The children should in any case not be bored and could even enjoy an even larger garden if the couple decides to settle for the holidays in their country house in Amner Hall, where they had notably spent confinement . Without forgetting, of course, Halloween, which they will celebrate with their maternal grandparents. Carol Middleton even revealed that she grew pumpkins! In any case, far from protocols and bowing, George, Charlotte and Louis are really children like the others!
