Karkwa back on record and on stage

Shortly after unveiling a new song titled Perfect on screenaccompanied by a clip featuring Pascale Bussières on Wednesday, Karkwa confirmed what many suspected: the rock group is preparing an album and even a series of concerts for the fall.

Thirteen years later The glass paths and just over 10 years after Louis-Jean Cormier’s solo debut, the quintet confirmed their return late Wednesday. “Today we are releasing the first single from our upcoming album. And yes, Karkwa is coming back! also wrote the group on Facebook. We can’t wait to let you hear everything else on record and in show! »

Quebec will have the scoop of Karkwa’s return to the stage since the group will be there on September 8, the day of the release of the album whose title has not been revealed, at the Imperial Bell. Louis-Jean Cormier, Stéphane Bergeron (drums), François Lafontaine (keyboards), Julien Sagot (percussion) and Martin Lamontagne (bass) will then be in Sherbrooke (November 24), Saguenay (November 25), Montreal (November 30, 1er and December 2) and in Toronto (December 7). Tickets for the fall concerts have been on sale since Thursday morning.
