Karine Vanasse will star in the Canadian-English adaptation of Plan B, for the CBC network.

The Quebec actress will play the role of actor Patrick J. Adams (Suits).
CBC will revisit the first season of the sci-fi drama, which starred Louis Morissette and Magalie Lépine-Blondeau in 2017.
This rereading will tell the story of Philip (Patrick J. Adams), an ambitious lawyer, who uses the services of a mysterious company to go back in time and save his couple. But by dint of wanting to control everything, Philip will lose control and slip dangerously. Karine Vanasse will take over the role held by Magalie Lépine-Blondeau in French.
KOTV, which produces the original series, will also produce this adaptation, which is expected to land on CBC Gem, the public broadcaster’s platform, next winter. Filming will begin on July 17 in Montreal. Red Arrow Studios will distribute this English version internationally.
The authors of Plan B, Jean-François Asselin and Jacques Drolet, sign this new version with Lynne Kamm. Asselin will also wear the director’s hat with Aisling Chin-Yee and Maxime Giroux.
Plan B has already been the subject of several foreign adaptations, including a French one, presented on TF1 in the spring of 2021. remake German is also under construction.
In Quebec, a fourth season is currently being filmed. Starring Pier-Luc Funk, it will land in the Véro.tv section of ICI Tou.tv Extra next season.
