This is a statement made on Monday October 16 evening by the Minister of the Interior. The former striker of the France team disputes these remarks. He would even consider proceedings against the Minister of the Interior.

Through his lawyer, Karim Benzema justified himself: he made it known that, for him, the bombings in Gaza take nothing away from the horror of the terrorist acts of October 7 in Israel.
