(New York) Minnesota Wild forward Kirill Kaprizov, Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner and New York Rangers goalie Igor Shesterkin were named the three stars of the week in the NHL on Monday.
Kaprizov led the Bettman circuit with six goals and 12 points in four games.
He started the week with six points (three goals, three assists) in the Wild’s 10-7 victory against the Vancouver Canucks on February 19.
The 26-year-old has seven goals and 11 assists since his eight-game point streak began on February 9.
For his part, Marner scored a goal and led the league with nine assists in four games with the Maple Leafs, who are on a seven-game winning streak.
Finally, Shesterkin made an NHL-high 119 saves, in addition to posting a 1.00 goals-against average and a .975 save percentage for the Rangers, leaders in the Eastern Conference.
