Kansas City shooting: Taylor Swift donates $100,000 to victim’s family

Taylor Swift participated in the GoFundMe campaign set up to help the family of the mother of two who died of her injuries after being shot in the Kansas City shooting on Wednesday, making two donations of $50,000.

“I send you my deepest condolences for this devastating loss. With love, Taylor Swift,” the pop star left a message to the family of Lisa Lopez-Galvan, who died at age 43.

According to what the newspaper reported Kansas City Star, the mother of the family, reportedly died in hospital shortly after the shooting, while undergoing emergency surgery for gunshot wounds to the abdomen.

The one who was also a DJ and radio host in Kansas City took part in the celebrations surrounding the Chiefs’ victory in the most recent Super Bowl. According to CNN, she was accompanied by her husband of 22 years, as well as their two children and other family members.

Taylor Swift, who was in Las Vegas for the Super Bowl, was not in Kansas City for the parade of champions.
