Another figure who was not intended to represent her country: a young woman of Ukrainian origin was elected Miss Japan. While a British retiree was wondering who was tidying his workshop at night, his infrared camera revealed the presence of a little house fairy mouse. As the mercury fell below -8°C in Texas, USA, an alligator was trapped under the ice. He let the ice form around his snout so he could survive.
