Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has again been diagnosed with COVID-19, he announced in a Twitter post on Monday.
“I’m fine, and that’s thanks to my vaccines. If you haven’t already, get your shots or booster shots,” he wrote.
I’ve tested positive for COVID-19. I’ll be following public health guidelines and isolating. I feel okay, but that’s because I got my shots. So, if you haven’t, get vaccinated – and if you can, get boosted. Let’s protect our healthcare system, each other, and ourselves.

Mr. Trudeau had planned to join, in the evening, a rally of Liberal activists in Ottawa to deliver a speech. As he pointed out on social media, the Liberal leader has instead begun his isolation as required by public health rules.
The Prime Minister returned Saturday evening from a trip to the United States, where he took part in the Summit of the Americas.
He also visited the North American Aerospace Defense Command in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was notably in the company of his Minister of National Defence, Anita Anand.
Photographs that have circulated on the web where we can see Mr. Trudeau without a mask, chatting and shaking hands with leaders, have caused many Internet users to react.
This is not the first time the Prime Minister has contracted COVID-19. It was reached at the beginning of the year.
Further details will follow.
