It was tight as possible. At one bend from the end, the Canadian bobsled was only a hundredth ahead of the Germans led by Christoph Hafer. With a total time of 3 min 55.09 s, they finally had the upper hand by 6 hundredths

The German bobsledders led by Francesco Friedrich (3 min 54.30 s) won gold, while their compatriots, piloted by Johannes Lochner (3 min 54.67 s), came away with silver.

Behind the Kripps team was the quartet of Christoph Hafer. With his total time of 3 min 55.15 s, it was not enough to surpass the representatives of the maple leaf.

The other Canadian team, led by Chris Spring and including former Alouettes Samuel Giguère, also did very well. Especially in the fourth round. It allowed them to gain a few ranks to finally rank ninth.

More details will follow.
