justice confirms the placement under judicial supervision of the comedian

The investigating chamber of the Paris Court of Appeal confirmed, on Tuesday March 14, the maintenance released under judicial supervision of Pierre Palmade in the investigation into the road accident he caused while under the influence of cocaine.

The comedian was placed in pre-trial detention on February 27, but never physically entered prison, having been locked in his hospital bed. The investigating judge of Melun, in charge of the investigation, had acceded in early March to a request for release made by the 54-year-old comedian. A decision that the prosecution immediately appealed.

In its decision, the Court of Appeal held that “the state of health of Pierre Palmade [n’est] not incompatible with continued detention”. But she considers that “the evolution of this state of health lessens
