From the United States to ASSE
Trained at the Pôle Espoirs in Rennes, Juliette Vidal played in Lorient in D2 before leaving for five years in the United States. She practiced very physical football there, but less tactical and technical than you can have in France and in Europe.
“American soccer is very physical, it allowed me to develop physically and athletically”
His recruitment was done very quickly. In less than a week. The project pleased him quite quickly with a concrete objective: maintenance. The native of the North will be able bring this physical dimension (she is also very sharp) but also her experience and her good humor. His favorite position is defensive midfielder but it can also act as a central hinge. A player who likes to keep the ball to help build the game.
Juliette Vidal is available, qualified is therefore convenable for the next match of the Greens in D1 this Saturday, February 5 at 2:30 p.m. against Paris FC.
Another recruit expected in the coming days
Jérôme Bonnet, the ASSE coach, gave details on the women’s transfer window. Its objective was to strengthen all the lines and therefore to recruit three players. It won’t be possible, so his goal is to find versatile players. This is the case with Juliette Vidal preferably playing in the middle but able to render services in defense.
What about the Saint-Etienne attack? The coach announced a second recruit, in the offensive sector. A rather attacking midfield player who can also play as an attacker. Expected arrival next week.
