Julien Denormandie returns to Emmanuel Macron’s meeting, Marine Le Pen addresses the theme of purchasing power

Sunday April 17, Julien DenormandyMinister of Agriculture and Food, is the first guest on the program “Dimanche en politique”, presented by Francis Letellier. The outgoing president addressed the theme of ecology, April 16 during his meeting. “Today there is a need, climate change is real (…) we must fight forcefully against this change”says Julian Denormandy. Emmanuel Macron is counting on everyone’s investment.

What about the glyphosate, that the head of state was supposed to ban five years ago, and who is still allowed? “There are commitments to pursue with force and determination (…) there is no ban without a solution”, responds the minister. Regarding purchasing power, Julien Denormandy criticizes the measure of the candidate national rally, which consists in lowering the VAT. According to him, this will not make it possible to cap the increase in prices.

The journalist Francis Letellier then receives the candidate Marine Le Pen. This states that the campaign has been tense since the arrival of Emmanuel Macron. “As soon as he arrives, he brings this brutality”she says. Marine Le Pen wants to consult consumer associations in order to remove VAT on hundreds of food products, with the aim of increasing purchasing power. “I want to return the money to all the French”she assures. The candidate RN also wants make the RSA conditional on training, in order to enable beneficiaries to find a job.
