I lived an extraordinary adventure“, he had declared in the first place to Picard Courier. But, in a video posted to Instagram on December 25, the buyer who made his fortune says more about the real reasons for his departure.
Indeed, he once again underlines the difficult pace of work to keep up, which has undermined his relationship. He explains, facing the camera: “During these four and a half years, I went to bed early, I had a somewhat complicated social life for my wife because it takes a lot of energy to turn Deal done. And this energy, I put it on the set to the detriment of a lot of other things: no restaurants, no evening outings …“Besides, as he specifies, this decision to leave Deal concluded, was taken with his wife.
Now he will have more time to devote to Karine, his wife for over twenty years. Both are very fusional. Besides, in addition to forming a couple, they do business together. In 2019, in his autobiographical book, Life is a game (published by Robert Laffont) he told about his meeting with Karine: “When she leaves my office, long after entering it, she owns 15% of the shares of the company, of which she has become the commercial director of indirect sales … and I fell in love in less time than it takes to say it.”
