Jeanne Herry’s film, released in theaters on March 29, 2023, follows the victims and detainees during a workshop in which everyone can exchange “freely” with their counterpart. We can discover there a young woman who wishes in particular to speak with her brother who raped her when she was younger. Among the “speakers”, the spectators can therefore find Leïla Bekhti, Adèle Exarchopoulos, and Gilles Lellouche. But also Fred Testot, Birane Ba, Dali Benssalah, as well as Miou-Miou. The latter is no stranger to the film.

Or rather, who has a special bond with director Jeanne Herry. Indeed, the latter is none other than his daughter, the fruit of his love with Julien Clerc. The 75-year-old singer did not hesitate to support the apple of his eye this Monday, April 3, on his Twitter account. The interpreter of “My preference” wrote a very nice message to ask his fans to go see his project.
“It’s not because she’s my daughter”, first defended the one who would experience some money problems at first before continuing: “but here is the (exceptional) film that I advise you to go see! “I will always see your faces”, a film by Jeanne Herry, currently in theaters”. A support that undoubtedly greatly pleased the main interested party.
