Julien and Pierre dressed by one of the greatest French couturiers

It’s the end of the adventure for Julien and Pierre, but also for the four million faithful of the star Academy. This Saturday, February 3, the grand finale of the eleventh season is broadcast on TF1, which will crown Pierre or Julien the grand winner of the competition. One of them will see his dream come true, succeeding Anisha Jo, Mickels Réa, Laurène Bourvon, Cyril Cinélu, Quentin Mosimann, Magalie Vaé, Grégory Lemarchal, Elodie Frégé, Nolwenn Leroy and Jenifer. For this final, the two young men will be accompanied by great artists such as Patrick Bruel and Patrick Fiori, but they will also be able to count on a renowned fashion designer !

Indeed, Simon Porte Jacquemus, creator of the famous French brand of the same name Jacquemus, offered the production to dress the Star Academy finalists himself. The production unsurprisingly accepted, and the young 34-year-old fashion designer came himself to announce the news to the two finalists at the Château de Dammarie-les-Lys. Happy to have been selected by the production to dress them, Simon Porte Jacquemus revealed that he has always been an unconditional fan of the program: “I’m so happy to meet you, it’s legendary for me to be here, you have no idea. I was 10 when Star Academy started and it was my dream (…) I am a Star Academy fan”.

The two finalists will therefore be dressed throughout the final as Jacquemus, And it’s not nothing ! This French brand has seen its prices soar in recent years, and the sweatshirts and pants it offers for sale cost hundreds of euros, and sometimes even a few thousand euros. This promising brand is progressing year after year thanks to the exposure that Simon Porte Jacquemus makes on social networks, alongside his husband Marco Maestri. In February 2023, Jacquemus had the exclusivity of the Parisian windows of Galeries Lafayette. He then had the first chance to organize an entire parade on the pools of the Palace of Versailles, with an audience coming to watch it in boats. In recent years, this pretty brand has experienced a real boom, and is even considered the little sister of Louis Vuitton !
