This Friday, November 11, France 3 broadcasts the film Métis (1993) by Mathieu Kassovitz with Julie Mauduech in the role of Lola. Mathieu Kassovitz plays the role of Félix and Hubert Koundé that of Jamal. Both play the lovers of the then pregnant young Lola.
Julia Mauduech and Mathieu Kassovitz are not only related by the film Métis, they were a couple. The two actors had a daughter, Carmen, born in 2002. The actress was also in a relationship with another famous actor, Serge Hazanavicius, father of his daughter Raïka (23) also an actress in the Netflix mini-series, The 7 Lives of Léa where she plays the main role of Léa alongside Mélanie Doutey, Samuel Benchetrit or Théo Fernandez.
Breakup and new child for Serge Hazanavicius
For his part, after his separation from Julia Mauduech, Serge Hazanavicius shared the life of a humorist well known to the public: Axelle Laffont, with whom he was in a relationship until September 2009. Their 16-year-old daughter named Mitty looks exactly like her mom! Axelle Lafftont was then in a relationship with Cyril Paglino, candidate for season 2 of Secret Story on TF1.
From the top of her 16 years, the young Mitty was able to make her debut in comedy in part thanks to her mother who directed the mini-series Addicted broadcast on Canal + in 2016. In May 2018, Axelle Laffont gave an interview to Purepeople in which she spoke about her daughter’s participation in this mini-series. “I happen to have a little girl who bathes in it, who loves itshe confided. So rather than seeing her run the castings, which stresses me out the most, as she really wants to, she’s in demand and she’s very talented, I make her play in my own stuff. She had played in my mini-series Addicted where she had a lot of text (…) She told me: ‘I only do figuration’. She was frustrated that she didn’t have a text.”
In any case, Julie Mauduech, Mathieu Kassovitz, Serge Hazanavicius and Axelle Laffont have in common to have passed on the passion for comedy to their respective children!
