The former municipal councilor and vice-president of the executive committee of the City of Quebec, Julie Lemieux, was appointed regional director of Radio-Canada in Quebec City on Tuesday.
The one who has also evolved for more than fifteen years in the media world, notably as a journalist and columnist at the Sun, will take office on April 4. She is leaving her position as President and CEO of Opération Enfant-Soleil, which she has held since 2019.

Julie Lemieux succeeds Véronique Lessard, who left her position last fall, six months after The sun had revealed the existence of a “toxic” work climate within the team for several years.
