Valentine’s Day promises to be hectic at the Merad-Vignali! Together since 2014, the couple likes to send small messages to each other through interviews or the media. And on this feast day for lovers, the TV presenter could not resist the pleasure of addressing her darling through the screen, as she presented Telematin like every day.
And it all started with a story… of peekaboo! These small wooden clocks, whose sales have been at half mast since the pandemic, were the subject of a report by journalist Laurent Desbonnets before Thomas Sotto, co-presenter of the show, wondered if it was not the best Valentine’s Day gift. The duplex reporter agrees, explaining that it would allow “to declare his love every hour“.
Julia Vignali, meanwhile, does not seem convinced! Before the irreparable is committed, she immediately wants to address the person concerned, to the laughter of the public: “In any case, if someone listens to me: no need to buy me a cuckoo clock for Valentine’s Day. I prefer to pass the message…“. And as Kad Merad had explained that he got into the habit of looking at his partner every morning, he was warned!
The two had also found themselves on the set in early January, when the actor came to promote a play. Somewhat embarrassed to come face to face, they confessed that he “was not easy to find the right dose” between the professional and the staff. The former friend of Olivier Baroux had however relaxed the atmosphere quite quickly, joking that they could have “do the show at home“!
Julia Vignali, who had found this moment “very nice“, had yet been quite clear: no preferential treatment for her lover! “He came, like all artists, to promote (…) and I wanted him to be received as all artists deserve. I didn’t want our story and our love to take precedence over the artist he is“, she had explained. In any case, it is in his interest to ensure for Valentine’s Day!
