According to DeadlineJulia Garner will be part of the cast of the next film of Fantastic Foura project announced by Marvel in 2019 and scheduled for theatrical release in July 2025. She will play the character of Shalla-Bal, the immortal empress of Zenn-La and the love interest of Norrin Radd, the original Silver Surfer.
Directed by Matt Shakman, the film will also star Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards and Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, while Joseph Quinn will play Johnny Storm and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm.
Julia Garner, 30, won the Emmy Awards for Best Supporting Actress three times for her role in the series Ozark (Netflix), which she held between 2017 and 2022. She was also supposed to play Madonna in an autobiographical film, but the project was put on ice.
