And, this Friday, June 16, 2023, Julia de Nunez was the queen of the opening ceremony of the 62nd Monte-Carlo Television Festival. The French actress has indeed been awarded the “Golden Nymph of the Most Promising International” for her role in this series dedicated to the icon of French cinema, broadcast last May. A consecration for the 23-year-old young woman received from the very hands of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco! A first winning role which underlines that, beyond an astonishing physical resemblance to BB, the talent of the actress is recognized. By receiving her prestigious award, the pretty blonde wanted to pay tribute to the co-creator of the series (with her son Christopher), the director Danielle Thomson, also present among the VIPs who flocked to the Grimaldi Forum congress centre. If this series has above all endeavored to brilliantly trace the beginnings of the star in the 1950s and his tumultuous loves, this original creation has nevertheless not met with great success with viewers, attracting only 2.35 million. followers on average per episode. But it was indeed Julia de Nunez who won the very first prize for these five days of exceptional encounters and competitions.

A friend introduced me to ‘Alby’, a senior who was the nicest guy. He was a normal guy. He always wore a green tracksuit”, even detailed Harlan Coben. “When I met him, I always said to him ‘Hi Alby’. Another student asked me, ‘What did you call it? His name isn’t Alby. This is Prince Albert II of Monaco’.” This prestigious festival crowning audiovisual works ends this Tuesday, June 20 and the two juries, chaired by actor John Goodman and executive producer Tom Jennings, will reward nine fiction productions and nine documentaries.
