“The little girl in me can no longer keep quiet about that name.” In a story posted on her Instagram account, which she made public on Saturday January 6, Judith Godrèche decided to name the director Benoît Jacquot and to publicly denounce “the influence” that he exercised on her when she was a teenager. Her relationship, when she was 14, with the filmmaker who was 40 at the time, was already mentioned in secret in sa series Icon of French Cinemabroadcast on Arte, and in his interviews to promote it. “You can get caught in the net of a more powerful person and art is an extremely favorable springboard for that,” she declared in particular in an interview published by She.

Where, when, how to say everything”she announces, emphasizing having “afraid of no longer working, of not being supported. But I have to do it for our daughters, our little sisters”, continues the actress. The actress affirms that the filmmaker, now 76 years old, “threat” of the “take to court for defamation”.
