Would Séverine have opened her eyes to her companion Cédric? In love with Delphine Jubillar’s husband for almost nine months, this mother of two children (one of whom is friends with the 34-year-old painter and plasterer) admitted that she now doubted her innocence and that he could actually be involved in the disappearance of the Albi nurse – who has not given any sign of life since the night of December 15 to 16, 2020 – according to The Parisian. Facing the investigators, she confided: “I think he is guilty. I think he actually killed her. I was manipulated, I believed it, I blame myself for having believed it. He is so capable of lying to me looking me straight in the eye.“
This is not the first time that Séverine doubts the innocence of her companion since last June, she had already expressed her fears to journalists from the Parisian. Looking back, she explained that she had never found Cédric very affected by the terrible disappearance of his wife. “Looking back, I never saw him really looking for his wife. In fact, I accompanied him to a rally a few weeks ago. I had the impression that he was just going there out of obligation to show himself. I find that Cédric has changed his behavior recently. On December 15, 2021, this mother in remission from cancer was arrested and taken into police custody for “concealment of a corpse” in Gaillac after a former fellow prisoner of Cédric accused her of knowing where the corpse of Delphine Jubillar. Finally, she was released the next day, for lack of evidence.
Surely shocked by this experience, Séverine has since decided to leave her home in Lescure d’Albigeois to take refuge in the peace of the countryside. Cédric Jubillar remains presumed innocent of the charges against him until the final judgment of this case.
