In the Jubillar case, which has been going on for a year and a half without having been resolved, the main track is that of the husband of the Tarn nurse Delphine, the justice system having even extended his pre-trial detention for spousal homicide by six months. The young woman, mother of their two children, was preparing to divorce him and wanted to settle down with her new lover after the end of year celebrations. However, this ideal culprit has been claiming his innocence since day one and another lead has surfaced: that of a motorhome.
A mystery was born around a motorhome that left the Cagnac-les-Mines area, where the Jubillar couple lived. According to La Dépêche du Midi, several inhabitants of this town in the Tarn were surprised by the departure of the vehicle which had been in the village since last week. “The owner of this vehicle played petanque regularly a few meters from the couple’s home. And strangely we didn’t see him again when this woman disappeared“, explained a man who participated in the research.
According to information from local radio 100% Radio, the owner of the suspect van explained this Sunday, January 3, 2021: “It is important to tell your listeners that the gendarmes checked me ten days before the disappearance of Delphine Jubillar, precisely at the bowling alley.” Passionate about petanque, he added that his presence was not a surprise: “For more than a year, a majority of players, young and old, knew me, and knew my vehicle.“
The new companion of Cédric Jubillar, Séverine, had rekindled the trail of the motorhome considered as not explored enough, confiding on RTL that Cédric regularly played bowls with the occupant of the vehicle before the disappearance of his wife. She had revealed that the nurse had already climbed into it in the past. However, Séverine has since distanced herself from her companion, whom she dated a few months before he was imprisoned. She does not wish to overwhelm the painter-plasterer who is in the sights of justice like relatives of Delphine née Aussaguel, but has taken a step back. In addition, the bowler had never hidden on his side admitted to knowing the Jubillar couple. He had left this place to return to Aveyron and has always been at the disposal of the gendarmes ever since.
If no confession or crime scene allows to designate the person guilty of the disappearance of Delphine Jubillar, the noose has tightened around her husband with several elements such as the expertise of his broken glasses, the testimony of the eldest son of the Jubillar present during the final evening, or even the psychiatric analysis of suspect number 1. New excavations are planned by the investigators from Monday, June 27.
Cédric Jubillar remains presumed innocent of the charges against him until the final judgment of this case.
