JP Morgan offers $30,000 restaurant budget to recruit

The American bank JP Morgan is looking for a foodie with a sharp pen ready to tour New York restaurants, in which he can spend US$30,000 on meals a year.

The company has announced that it is looking for an editor for its site The Infatuation, which offers Internet users lists of restaurants to discover in various major American cities.

“It’s both a writing job and a job to eat,” JP Morgan joked in his announcement.

The ideal candidate is described as “the friend in the group who chooses the restaurant”. He must, of course, be a “lover of restaurants and New York City,” but also have at least five years of writing experience and be a “lover of grammar who loses sleep over a comma.” forgotten or a misspelled menu item”.

In addition to receiving US$30,000 to visit as many restaurants as possible, the future editor-in-chief will receive an annual salary of between US$85,000 and US$130,000.

Alternatively, editor positions writing food reviews are also available in Seattle and London, where successful applicants will be tasked with “spending their evenings visiting as many restaurants as possible and their days writing about them.”
