Directors Alexia Bürger, Mélanie Demers and Marie-Eve Huot are the three finalists for the fourth edition of the Jovette-Marchessault Prize.
Awarded by the Conseil des arts de Montréal and Théâtre ESPACE GO, this award aims to recognize the contribution of women artists in the Montreal theater community.
In 2022, Alexia Bürger notably signed the staging of All thingsby Fanny Britt, while Mélanie Demers is behind the show Black Cabaret. Working mainly with a young audience, Marie-Eve Huot took part in the project choir beatingcurrently presented at the Maison Théâtre.
The name of the winner will be announced on May 15. A scholarship of $20,000 will be awarded to him.
