Journalist Jean-Claude Leclerc dies at 83

The former journalist and columnist for To have to Jean-Claude Leclerc died on Saturday at the age of 83.


His death was confirmed daily by his wife. Mr. Leclerc suffered from an illness related to a cognitive disorder.

For two decades, Jean-Claude Leclerc was an editorial writer at the To have to. He joined the Montreal daily at the age of 27, as a journalist for municipal affairs.

During his career, Mr. Leclerc has collaborated with several print media, including The Gazette from 1991 to 1995. He also taught journalism at the University of Montreal.
