The message is accompanied by two photos visibly taken by the person concerned: one shows him reflected in the mirror of what appears to be the toilets of the train, the head, the torso and the arms sprinkled with a red substance. The second photo shows a sleeper train compartment splashed with a large amount of blood-red colored liquid.

Two men are wanted by the police and an investigation has been opened, says the spress service of the Department of Transport of the Ministry of the Interior for the Central Federal District, quoted by the Russian agency Tass.

The newspaper Novaya Gazeta announced at the end of March that it was suspending its online and print publications in Russia until the end of the intervention in Ukraine, in full hardening of the Kremlin against dissonant voices.
