A fried shepherd’s pie with a corn relish, here is the surprising suggestion that poet Joséphine Bacon and comedian Nicolas Michon make in a video produced by Urbania to mark the release of the digital edition of the recipe collection The P’tits dishes in heritage.
Posted at 4:00 p.m.
Originally launched in 2020 by the company Corbeil Électroménagers and the organization Les Petits Frères and improved since then, this book brings together the traditional recipes of around thirty single elderly people, including Alcide Dupuis’ baked beans, boiled vegetables from Bibiane Chantal, sugar cream from Micheline L. Métivier and foie gras à la Juju from actress Béatrice Picard, godmother of the Little Brothers.
The collection is on sale for $10. All funds raised will be donated to Les Petits Frères, an organization whose mission is to counter isolation among seniors.
