Alpe d’Huez comedy festival: day 4! In Isère, comedies follow one another and are not alike. After Jérôme Commandeur, Thierry Lhermite, François-Xavier Demaison and even Franck Dubosc, it was Ahmed Sylla’s turn to come and defend his next film: Twins but not too many!, competing this year. Thursday January 21, 2022, the comedian and actor happily posed with his comrades Pauline Clément and Bertrand Usclat … in a down jacket of course.
The comedy Twins but not too many! features two brothers who suddenly discover each other’s existence, 33 years after their birth. For Grégoire and Anthony, the surprise is all the greater as one is white, the other black! There was a one in a million chance of this genetic phenomenon occurring. But their skin color is far from the only thing that differentiates them! By getting to know each other, neither of them feels like they have hit the jackpot… A feature film directed by Olivier Ducray and Wilfried Meance, whose release date has not yet been confirmed.
At the foot of the slopes, Ahmed Sylla and his friends were able to meet the film crew Goodbye happiness, also in competition. Director Ken Scott made the trip from Quebec with several of his actors: Louis Morissette, Antoine Bertrand and François Arnaud. This comedy tells the story of four brothers who are completely opposed: their wives and their many children go to the summer house, on the Magdalen Islands, to bid their last farewells and scatter the ashes of this man who was so important to each of them. When Nicolas, the youngest brother, loses the urn containing their father’s ashes, the conflicts begin…
