The first selection with the Blues will have to wait for Jordan Joseph. The third line center of Pau had to forfeit the autumn tour of the XV of France, announced Tuesday, October 18, the FFR without giving further explanations.

Jordan Joseph (22) is replaced by his Union Bordeaux Bègles counterpart, Bastien Vergnes-Taillefer (25), in Fabien Galthié’s group of 42 players, revealed on Monday. It is also the first call-up for Vergnes-Taillefer, who has played five Top 14 games for UBB this season.
The XV of France will begin its autumn tour against Australia, on November 5 at the Stade de France, before continuing with South Africa, the 12 in Marseille, and Japan, the 20 in Toulouse.
