Jordan Harris signs with the Canadiens for two more seasons

The Montreal Canadiens have granted defenseman Jordan Harris a two-year, US$2.8 million contract extension.

Harris, 22, has a goal and 10 assists in 47 games this season, his first full NHL game.

The Haverhill, Massachusetts native had one goal in 10 games last spring after joining the ranks of the Habs.

The Canadiens’ third-round pick in 2018, 71st overall, Harris has two goals and 10 assists in 57 career NHL games.

He has averaged 18:26 of play per game this season.
