Sunday, November 13, Francis Letellier received the MEP and president of the National Rally, Jordan Bardella. He speaks, among other things, on immigration, global warming and rising fuel prices.
Friday, November 11, the humanitarian ship Ocean Viking landed in the port of Toulon. “The question everyone should be asking is why do these people cross the sea at the risk of their lives? They do it because political leaders, here in France and in Europe, make these people believe that Europe is still an Eldorado”says Jordan Bardella, new president of the National Rally (RN), received Sunday, November 13, on the set of “Sunday in politics” by Francis Letellier.
On European migration policy, the MEP finds Giorgia Meloni, Italian Prime Minister, “consistent”. “I think France should welcome far fewer migrants. (…) These migrants must be relocated to the countries of departure and push back methods should be put in place, methods of refoulement and escorting of these boats, not to the European coasts, but to the ports of departure”launches Jordan Bardella.
For Jordan Bardella, global warming “is the challenge of my generation.” Stating that banning private jets is not “not the subject” principal on the subject, he explains that the economic model based on import-export is “which harms the planet very greatly. (…) The solution is economic patriotism.”
Wednesday, November 16, the discount on the price of fuel will drop by 20 cents. Many French people rushed to gas stations to fill up before the drop in aid. The RN proposes the reduction of VAT on fuels from 20 to 5.5%, which would not prevent the oil giants from raising their prices. “The French are now up against the wall of inflation. Going shopping or paying bills is an anguish”he explains. He wants a 10% increase in salaries, not an alignment with inflation, “In return, this 10% increase is exempt from employer contributions for five years.”
Officially elected president of the RN on November 5, he assures that he will work in coordination with Marine Le Pen. “I made two very clear commitments: lead the National Rally to power and prepare it to exercise its responsibilities. We know that we will probably succeed Emmanuel Macron and all that is being prepared”underlines Jordan Bardella.
