Jordan Bardella is, Sunday, May 29, the guest of Sunday in politics. The MEP and acting president of the National Rally speaks on the war in Ukraine, purchasing power and even the public hospital.
As the war in Ukraine has entered its fourth month, should the country join the European Union? Jordan Bardella, MEP and President of the National Rally (RN), believes that “the European Union, which has grown considerably in recent years”must not “keep doing it“.
As for European political cooperation, Jordan Bardella regrets that Emmanuel Macron is not “not perceived by Vladimir Putin as the President of the independent, free and autonomous French Republic” but like “the representative of Mr. Biden or [de] the European Commission“, and laments that “France no longer has the weight it once had on the international scene“.
On the subject of purchasing power, the RN says it is ready to vote for all measures in favor of the purchasing power of the French, including the food check proposed by Emmanuel Macron. Jordan Bardella however denounces the “policy of social ransacking which has been implemented for five years“and believes that”the government has collapsed the purchasing power of the working classes“.
Marine Le Pen’s party proposes three measures to “give the French back their money“: the reduction of VAT from 20 to 5.5% on fuel and energy, a basket of 100 basic necessities exempt from VAT, and finally to reindex retirement pensions on inflation.
