Jordan Bardella at a meeting in Royan and Raphaël Glucksmann in Nantes

One is the big favorite in the polls, the other hopes to be the surprise of this election, by catching up with the list of the presidential majority. Two months before the vote to elect MEPs, the head of the National Rally list Jordan Bardella is at a meeting in Royan (Charente-Maritime) from 3 p.m., Saturday April 13. At the same time and also on the Atlantic coast, the head of the PS-Place publique list Raphaël Glucksmann is holding a rally in Nantes (Loire-Atlantique). Follow our live stream.

Bardella leads the polls. The outgoing MEP leads the National Rally list, credited with around 30% of voting intentions by the polls, far ahead of the Macronists led by MEP Valérie Hayer. Accused by his opponents of skipping the televised debates, he must speak from the Palais des Congrès in Royan from 3 p.m. In 2016, he led the RN list which finished first in the European ballot with 23.34% of the votes cast.

Glucksmann took leadership on the left. Also an MEP since 2019, the one who had already led the list PS-Place publique, allowing it to obtain 6.19%, is currently ahead of the other left-wing lists in the polls. Raphaël Glucksmann has made a breakthrough in voting intentions in recent weeks, climbing to 12.5%. He will be surrounded by several running mates at the Zénith in Nantes.
