A shock, when we know that the life of this man, so troubled, had been scrutinized during the investigation and that nothing had oriented the investigators on this track. One of his lawyers, master Randall Schwerdorffer, also called him back without delay on the same channel: “Regarding the orientations of Jonathann Daval, the research was quite extensive but nothing had been found, other than heterosexuality in his past.“.
The lawyer also said to himself:very surprised“of this information which he himself did not have, and recalled that his client’s couple was”in crisis“at the time of the tragedy.
Dissected by the experts, the relationship between Jonathann and Alexia Daval was indeed very difficult, in particular because of a child, which the couple could not have. The man had even consulted doctors who had not found specific causes of infertility but these tensions had built up over the months.
A short time later, visibly during an argument, Jonathann Daval was acted out by strangling his wife Alexia, then attempting to burn her body. The man had then made a declaration of disappearance to the gendarmerie and had participated, with the parents of the young woman, in all the tribute events. During the funeral, he had notably been seen in tears between his in-laws… before being confounded and confessing in front of them his many lies.
So does this new relationship testify of a new lie in the life of Jonathann Daval ? Or a real attraction that he would not have wanted to admit? Very clearly, his lawyer in any case refused to speak, speaking of the “privacy“. of his client. “I think it is absolutely necessary that Jonathan Daval’s private life be preserved from now on. It is the wish of the families, and it is the wish of Jonathan Daval, he wishes to have a right to be forgotten. Everything has been said, everything has been written on this case and I think that today he wants to keep a certain dignity“, he asserted.
