Jonathan Drouin excluded from training for the Canadiens after missing a meeting

Jonathan Drouin did not participate in training for the Montreal Canadiens on Friday, while head coach Martin St-Louis explained that it was a consequence of the forward missing a team meeting earlier today.

St. Louis didn’t say whether Drouin will face any other sanctions, such as whether or not he will face the Lightning on Saturday.

The Canadian only has 12 healthy attackers with him in Tampa.

Samuel Montembeault will defend the Habs cage.

The Canadian will try to redeem himself after a 9-5 loss to the Florida Panthers.

Defender Kaiden Guhle left the game briefly late in the third period after injuring his ankle or left knee.

Guhle did not participate in training for the Canadiens on Friday, instead enjoying a day of treatment.
