Jonathan Danty, Dorian Aldegheri and François Cros established with the XV of France for the Crunch against England

The XV of France travels to London to challenge England, Saturday March 10, at Twickenham (at 5:45 p.m. on France 2 and france.tv).

The changes continue for the XV of France in the Six Nations Tournament. Fabien Galthié and Raphaël Ibanez unveiled, Thursday March 9, the composition of the team which will face England on Saturday March 11 on the lawn of Twickenham, with three changes compared to the XV victorious against Scotland.

On the front line, Dorian Aldegheri is established as the right pillar to compensate for the suspensions of Mohamed Haouas and Uini Atonio, while François Cros replaces Anthony Jelonch, operated on earlier this week after his cruciate ligament rupture against Scotland. Beyond these two forced changes, Fabien Galthié also made a tactical adjustment with the choice to start Jonathan Danty rather than Yoram Moefana in the center.

Danty back to center

The Rochelais had to forfeit the start of the Tournament after injuring his knee in the league. After a convincing return to the Top 14, he had already been called up to prepare for the match against Scotland, without being retained. “I ran into him this morning, Jo, and I told him that I was sure they were going to ask me about him. He replied, ‘Tell them I’m hot!’ With that , he said everything and we understood everything”explained the coach to justify his choice. He thus relegates Yoram Moefana, not sparkling since the start of the competition, to the bench.

François Cros, one of the key men of the Grand Slam 2022, is established for the first time in a year, after being sidelined for many months due to a knee injury. Toulouse’s Dorian Aldegheri had not started an international match since March 2021 and a trip to London already.
