After the “Honey and the bees”, Mallaury Nataf was the heroine of the series “Sous le soleil”, broadcast on TF1 in 1996, for a short period of time. This December 21, 2023, the 51-year-old actress returned to the reasons which pushed her to leave the soap opera. And Adeline Blondieau is no stranger to it…
“The producer had Adeline Blondieau filmed without telling me”
Indeed, on the set of “Chez Jordan”, the TV star confided that Johnny Hallyday’s ex had stolen his role. She actually remembered: “Adeline Blondieau when she came, somewhere, I faded away”. In reality, Adeline Blondieau was not really responsible for the hiccup. Mallaury Nataf explains: “the producer had Adeline Blondieau filmed without telling me. That means that one day I arrived on set and Adeline was there. I called Pascal Breton and told him ‘well, I’m still the main role It would have been nice to warn me that there was a co-lead role, because she presented herself as a lead role. And in fact, it was a mistake on the producer’s part not to have warned me.”
And that’s not the only reason for his departure. Indeed, Mallaury Nataf assures that we had “sold a social series tour in Saint-Tropez, which it wasn’t at all. These were bourgeois problems, and that’s why I didn’t stay. Because I really thought I would land in a social series”. Deceived about the merchandise, the actress had no problem “slam the door after 10 episodes”since his contract allowed him to do so, to bounce back into the theater.
Years later, she admits to having regretted not having stayed in this “series which worked very very well and in fact”, to form with Bénédicte Delmas and Adeline Blondieau the trio of stars of the program. It was Tonya Kinzinger who was then recruited to replace her, remembers Mallaury Nataf.
“She was charming, I helped her rehearse”
However, Mallaury Nataf was not hostile towards Adeline Blondieau, despite the context. She remembers about the actress who became a sophrologist: “she was charming, I helped her rehearse because she had to get her bearings in the series. Finally I rolled out the red carpet for her, and I was really very nice, because I’m a nice girl“.
