Johnny Hallyday’s daughter evokes her “deep anxieties” related to her son

As she takes a very important turn in her career with a new theater project, Laura Smet, the daughter of Johnny Hallyday and Nathalie Baye confided in her first role, that of mother, during an interview with Madame Figaro. On October 7, 2020, Laura Smet gave birth to little Léo, the fruit of her union with her companion for nine years and husband since 2018, Raphaël Lancrey-Javal. “Since I had my son, I also know that the essential is elsewhere: I deeply love this job, but it must remain play, pleasure“, she first said.

Before discussing his concerns about the future of little Leo, barely two years old. “My deep anxieties are more related to the well-being of mine, in the future and of my child and future generations”she explained, then wondered: “Will they still be able to see the snow and swim in the ocean? Will they be able to grow up with the same carelessness as us?” It must be said that in recent years we have been given enough to worry about, between the Covid-19 pandemic, the war in Ukraine, the increasingly visible consequences of global warming…

In a previous interview for Female Version, David Hallyday’s sister was also delighted that little Leo arrived at the right time, that is to say after the big conflicts with Laetitia Hallyday following the death of his father. “The only thing that matters to me is that my son is happy, and I will do everything to ensure that the dialogue is never broken between us.” she then explained, little Leo would have allowed her to see things differently. After a pregnancy spent on a small cloud. “It was very special because I learned that I was pregnant just before, she began. I stayed with my lover and my son-in-law in the countryside. I took the opportunity to work on the screenplay for my feature film. Strangely, I really liked this ‘frameless’ period, living this little respite for nature”, she confided in July 2020 at the microphone of RTL.
