It was an exceptional auction that took place on Friday March 18: a Harley-Davidson belonging to Johnny Hallyday went for more than 470,000 euros.

Johnny Hallyday’s legendary Harley-Davidson “Laura’s Eyes” snatched up Friday March 18 for 470,000 euros at the Retromobile show in Paris. Johnny Hallyday had bought this motorcycle for a crossing of the United States. Revamped, the “Laura’s Eyes” even performed three concerts at the Stade de France. The exceptional motorcycle was acquired by a Frenchman from Annecy (Haute-Savoie), Johnny Hallyday’s greatest collector of vehicles.

Until the sale, it belonged to a fan, Frédéric Noalhat, who had won it in a competition in 1998. In his dressing room at the Stade de France, Johnny had given him the keys in person. Since then, she sat enthroned in her living room. “I had seen her every day for 23 years, so there is a tearing away, a separation”, did he declare. Consolation for the fan: a record price for a motorcycle from Johnny. Frédéric Noalhat promises to donate part of it to Laetitia Hallyday’s charity association.
