Johane Despins turns the page on The grocery store. The host will leave the show on June 30, after 16 seasons at the helm.




Radio-Canada announced the news in a press release on Monday.

This departure comes two years after that of Denis Gagné. Like her ex-co-host, Johane Despins claims to have a desire for “giddiness”. “But I am proud to have collaborated in the success of this show which is still relevant after 22 years and which will continue to be relevant for a long time, I am convinced,” she added in a written statement.

Since fall 2022, Johane Despins has been piloting The grocery store with Myriam Fehmiu on ICI Télé. The identity of the person who will take their place at the wheel of the public affairs magazine devoted to food will be announced “at a later date”, specified the public broadcaster.
