(Washington) US President Joe Biden will receive NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at the White House on June 12, his spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre said on Wednesday.
The meeting with the head of NATO, whose mandate ends in October, will, according to her, aim to prepare for the next summit of the Western defense alliance in Vilnius and to discuss support for Ukraine.
“The secretary has done an outstanding job. […] at a critical moment” in history, greeted Karine Jean-Pierre, saying that the White House was “very very grateful for his management” at the head of NATO.
The leaders of NATO member countries are to meet on July 11 and 12 in the capital of Lithuania.
